The journal includes but is not limited to the following topics:

  • Classical and molecular plant breeding strategies for trait improvement
  • Genomic selection, QTL mapping, and marker-assisted breeding
  • Plant responses to biotic and abiotic stresses
  • Plant-pathogen interactions and disease resistance mechanisms
  • Agricultural entomology and integrated pest management
  • Application and efficacy of biostimulants in plant growth and stress mitigation
  • Soil–plant–microbe interactions and rhizosphere biology
  • Advances in plant nutrition, physiology, and metabolic regulation
  • Functional genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics in plants
  • Precision agriculture, phenotyping technologies, and digital tools for crop monitoring
  • Conservation, biodiversity, and systematics of economically important plant species
  • Use of AI and computational modeling in plant research
  • Innovations in sustainable and climate-smart agriculture
  • Postharvest physiology and crop quality enhancement

Mission: To foster innovative, sustainable, and interdisciplinary plant science research that addresses global agricultural challenges and promotes plant health, productivity, and environmental stewardship.
